Meet Our Teachers

Judy Burdine - Teacher

Judy Burdine has been the teacher at Little Indian Preschool since 1999. Prior to Little Indian, Judy taught preschool in Adrian, Michigan for three years. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. She lived in Iowa and Ohio prior to moving to Michigan.

Judy is married to Greg Burdine and they have 4 children. They enjoy spending time with family and are thankful for their 9 grandchildren.

Having been an involved parent, Judy feels right at home in a cooperative preschool setting. Her youngest child attended a cooperative preschool when they moved to Michigan. She is aware of the benefits of the cooperative preschool environment as both a parent and as a teacher.

Judy has enjoyed getting to know the children she has taught as well as their families. She finds pleasure just watching the children learn and seeing their confidence grow as they accomplish new skills. She is grateful for the opportunity to work with so many wonderful families.

Rhaea Miller - Teaching Assistant

Rhaea Miller has been the teaching assistant at Little Indian since 2011, but previously she served on the board as President, Equipment Coordinator, and as a parent of two Little Indian alumni.  Prior to being involved with Little Indian, she was involved in a cooperative preschool in Colchester, Connecticut where her eldest attended.

She moved to Tecumseh in 2006 with her husband Lee and three kids.  As her kids grew up and left Little Indian, she stayed.  She genuinely enjoys her preschool friends and is honored to be a part of their early education.

Before being a stay at home mom, Rhaea was a production assistant at Fox Toledo, a satellite traffic coordinator at ESPN, and an editorial assistant at the University School of Medicine but preschool is her favorite!
